Cheste host the Grand Prix of Spain on April 11

The Grand Prix of Spain's 2010 World Superbike will be played April 11 at the Valencia circuit in Cheste, according to the testing schedule announced Friday by the International Motorcycling Federation. The World Cup will begin on February 28 at the Phillip Island circuit in Australia and ends on Oct. 3 at the French Magny-Cours. The 2010 World Superbike has two Spanish riders on the provisional list of members: Ruben Xaus, who will compete with a BMW S1000 RR, and Carlos Checa, riding a Ducati 1098R. Supersport championship will feature two Spanish: Joan Lascorz (Kawasaki ZX 6R) and David Salom (Triumph Daytona 675).
